Hello and welcome to the Burnham on Sea Harriers website.
We are a friendly running club for anyone that lives in the Burnham on Sea or surrounding areas. Our Tuesday evening club run is well attended, organised into groups to cater for runners of all abilities. Anyone wishing to run with the club either as a new runner or to join as a seasoned runner is very welcome and you’ll find a wealth of experience for help and advice.

About Us
Something For Everyone!
Burnham on Sea Harriers is a local friendly running club that supports runners of all abilities in the Burnham on Sea, Highbridge and surrounding areas. The club has an active membership that run in races locally, nationally and globally and organises three annual events: The Pawlett Plod, the Burnham on Sea half marathon and Brent Knoll race.
The club meets for its weekly club run on Tuesday evenings, although members organise other social runs throughout the week. We also provide the core volunteering team for the Burnham and Highbridge parkrun every Saturday morning.New members are always welcome. Coaching is available for runners wishing to improve their performance or to support training for a race or event.

Our Races
Burnham on Sea Harriers organise the following races: Brean Banger 10km – a new multi terrain race scheduled to take place on 18 June 2025, 7.15pm. Burnham on Sea half marathon – the 2025 race is scheduled to take place on Sunday 14 September. Brent Knoll race – Multi terrain race which will take place on Sunday 23 November 2025. Race results for the Burnham half and Brent Knoll races are available below and on the relevant race pages within this site.
Brent Knoll Race

Brean Banger
New in 2025, the Brean Banger is a 10km multi terrain race that incorporates Brean Down, the England Coast path and Brean Beach. Join us on 18 June, 7.15 for this scenic 10km race! 2025 online race entry
Burnham Half Marathon
Congratulations to everyone that ran the 2024 Burnham half marathon. The 2025 race will take place on Sunday 14 September 2025, 9:45am. 2025 Race entry
Become a Member
If you have doubts about joining the club, why not come along to our Tuesday evening club run. The club meet every Tuesday from 6pm onwards at the Bay Area Youth Centre, Cassis Close, Burnham on Sea. Take note that some club runs such as trail or speed sessions do start at other locations in the local area.
